Bio
Miller's English delivers cranked up or pared down music that hits the listener regardless of volume. Vocalist Leigh Meunier and guitarist Rob Meunier first formed the group as an acoustic duo. Interested in rounding out their sound, the siblings welcomed bassist Tyler Wooley-Brown and drummer Greg Goodwin.
Within two months of its early 2011 formation, this Boston-based rock group had written enough tunes to play their first show, a gig at the long-established music club Cantab Lounge in Cambridge, MA. Energized by the camaraderie and ease with which their practice sessions translated to live performance, the foursome continued building a solid repertoire consisting of jams spanning the blues, punk, and hard rock genres. Over the next two years, Miller's English played shows throughout the Boston area and beyond, venturing all over the Northeast.
Earlier this year, Miller's English released their debut EP and performed at events near and far, including Cambridge's Make Music Festival and Maine's Down East Country Fest. Most recently, the group was selected to play the Warrior Dash, a popular, international obstacle race.
Miller's English is busy this fall recording and writing new material at Boston's well-known rehearsal space, the Sound Museum. Check out their five-song EP at www.millersenglish.com. The songs are available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and Google Play.
