My name is Glenn Swan, I'm a long time veteran of the music business and currently reside here in New York City. I'm writing you on behalf of my great friend Mikey Bustos. Obviously Mikey needs no introduction, nevertheless I'll say what I've always felt. I've been watching & listening to Mikey's hard work evolve over the years, and I can say with conviction that he's one of Canada's most gifted artists. I myself have worked with many of the most famous artists in the world, both former stars and current ones as well. I've now worked over 20 years in the business of making records and I feel qualified to make an assessment on his behalf. Mikey truly deserves, and God knows it's long overdue, to be recognized among the amazing roster of talent that Canada represents. Mikey's name should be spoken along with all the other great Canadian artists such as Celine Dion, Nelly Furtado & Avril Levigne. Not out of luck, but the mere fact that he has worked for it, and worked hard. As the years have passed since his Canadian Idol introduction to the world, he has never relented in his effort to succeed. I believe without question that Mikey deserves all the recognition that's been afforded all the other great artists of Canada.

'Memoirs of a Superhero'
MIKEY BUSTOS is an international recording artist and performer and has recently released his debut solo album entitled “Memoirs of a Superhero” (Available via HMV stores, iTunes, amazon.ca, www.mikeybustos.com and other music retailers Canada-wide) to share his philosophies of the mind and experiences with exhilarating living. Bustos Entertainment Inc. recently signed Mikey to singles digital distribution arrangement with Soul Kiss Entertainment/Universal Music/Fontana North.
Since his debut appearance on the hit show Canadian Idol as a Top 10 finalist, he has released music videos, singles, toured Canada, USA, and Asia, and was front act for the likes of Christina Aguilera and The Pussycat Dolls. Largely inspired by the philosophical works of life mentors such as Louise L. Hay and Abraham Hicks, “Memoirs of a Superhero” traces Bustos’ experiences and views with the life-shaping power of mind and thought. Creatively using the superhero metaphor in the album of thirteen original pop tracks (twelve of which were written by Mikey), the journey begins.
He captivates audiences with his energy, lyrics, performance and passion. He touches the hearts of music lovers internationally with his passionate soulful vocals and emotionally charged song lyrics. Beyond the sheer marvel of his voice, his brilliance as an artist, performer, and songwriter has placed him in an exceptional category that earned him a reputation for igniting the crowd with his mercurial vocalise and musicianship show after show.
His journey commenced at the very early age of 5 with appearances on various TV commercials and public service announcements. He continued to sing throughout his high school and while attending University of Guelph in 2001, he attained the title of Grand Champion of a top ten Canadian Universities singing competition called “Joint-U-Singing”.
