MIkey Moola

 Mikey Moola was born on July 6 1985 in Peoria IL.
Growing up hearing his father blare artist like George Clinton and The
Parliament, he began to take a liking to music. As he grew older he fell
in love with the lyrical word play of hip-hop. Listening to songs like
Slick Rick’s “Hey Young World” Mikey gravitated to music. He would sit
and watch music videos by Run DMC, LL Cool J, Tupac Shakur, all the
while study rhymes, different rap patterns and metaphors.As time passed, he decided to take music into his own
hands. Mikey Moola started writing his own rhymes and creating songs in
1990. But it wasn’t until age 12 and performing in his first talent
show, did Mikey Moola know music was his passion and gave it life. Fast
Forward to 2014 he partnered with his cousin Carl Mac and joined a new
label, M&R Music Group. With his dynamic flow and Carl Mac’s
syncopated sounds it was only right he enlist to M&R’s roster.Today, expect Mikey Moola’s music to paint a picture with life’s stories like in “Gold Chain” & “Burn Down Trees”.
