In 2010 when Spinlight City disbanded after their stint on the Vans Warped Tour, it was déjä vu to MIKEI; after all, previous group Dear Dakota broke up after their single "Ode to an Ex" made it into regular rotation on 106.7XL, Orlando's Top 40 radio station.
Discouraged, but determined to not quit, MIKEI decided to take the reigns and began releasing music under his own name, this time as lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist.
Now after multiple surgeries on his ear drum and wrist, the death of a bandmate, and 3 independent releases, MIKEI is back and stronger than ever with his new EP, "Gray to Gold" (Available now on ITunes).
