Winner - Best Rock/Hard Rock Album - Independent Music Awards
"at a Midnight Spin show, those devoted fix their gaze upward, unfold their arms, and proceed to violently skank and hop about between bouts of fervid admiration bordering on a religious experience. And the Brooklyn rockers more than deserve that kind of frightening praise, forging an impassioned blend of punk and metal that reaches mainstream levels of polish and craftsmanship without ever forgoing any sense of personal dedication, intensity, or even any sort of ulterior motive to transcend their indie rankings." - Consequence of Sound
"Toward the end of us writing the album I was doing a lot of walking around NYC, usually by way of the Williamsburg Bridge. The song was sort of a prayer-like plea just hoping I could literally stay awake long enough to finish making the album, " Midnight Spin's lead singer Mike Corbett tells Rolling Stone. "I wrote the lyrics around 3 A.M. one night and recorded the vocals at the studio a few hours later." - Rolling Stone
"...this guitar-driven collective rattles off top-notch alt rock that has all the trappings to make a sizable dent in 2013 and beyond. Quite simply, there aren't many albums these days with few if any flaws, Don't Let Me Sleep is one of them." - AbsolutePunk
"The album combines the infectious hooks of '90s alt-rock radio with spitfire punk energy" - AOL Noisecreep
"Midnight Spin has that contagious, infectious sound that beats its way into your memory" - Antimusic
"It’s got the stabbing guitar and hard hitting drums of a rock song but a catchiness about it that makes it all stick." - Pigeons and Planes
"make you sing along as you head bang (or whip your hair back and forth) and jump up and down like a petulant child" - Listen Before You Buy
"Midnight Spin bring the rock like it’s going out of style, ripping through guitar riffs like 2am Doritos, and topping it all off with triple stacked hooks." - The Burning Ear
"If these guys didn’t love their instruments so much, their energy on stage looks like they’d enjoy nothing more than smashing them around by the end of the set" - Concert Blogger
"Well engineered rock-n-roll that is fast, furious and focused on making you fist pump at least one time" - Review Stalker
"One of the East Coast's most exciting rock bands" - Ryan's Smashing Life
Neuroin is a typical take-no-prisoners New York rock song. Loud, fast and abrasive, with a nice hook. - Here Comes the Flood
Imagine if Foo Fighters some how grew up as fans of early The Killers, with a little of The Strokes tossed in for flavor; “Neurion” floats heartily in that stew. - Consequence of Sound

Bio
Midnight Spins debut album Dont Let Me Sleep is the result of endless bleary-eyed practice sessions and late night stumbling across the East River that has inspired and yielded a full-length album worthy of its name. The twelve-song LP produced by Justin Gerrish (Vampire Weekend, The Strokes, Weezer) combines 90s alternative and punk energy with modern indie elements from their Brooklyn home.
Brooklyns Midnight Spin bash with a Foo Fighters brashness, dragging 90s alt-rock into the present as it should be: kicking and screaming.
NY Daily News
The band has quickly emerged as one of New Yorks most exciting live acts. Having already toured nationally including festivals like SXSW and playing prominent NYC venues like the Gramercy Theatre and Mercury Lounge; Midnight Spins skill for translating top-notch studio recordings into an unforgettable live show has put them well ahead of the pack even among their Brooklyn peers.
