Active since 2008, Midnight Romeo is the love child of Marie-Pierre Bellerose (vox), Marie-Pierre Bellefeuille (keys), Marc-Antoine Delarosbil (drums), Olivier Quirion (bass) and Julien Valois Dobbie (guitars). In their first year of existence, the band records two Eps. In 2009, they are invited to play at the Envol et Macadam festival, where they shine through their exceptional presence on stage. Follows a series of shows where they share the bill with artists such as: Beast, Hot Panda, Xavier Caféine and Misteur Valaire. In 2010, Midnight Romeo gathers attention from performances at the Bivouac Urban, the Université Laval's back to school event as well as the Relève en Capital festival. Their style evolves and matures and the band enters studio in fall of 2010 with Producer Steve Nadeau and engeneer Frank Joly. The ensuing album, Telephone is a powerful Dance-Rock blend bursting with personality.
Recently, Midnight Romeo signed with The Syndicate in New York.The Syndicate has proven itself an established, respected, and influential force in the world of music and entertainment marketing over the past 14 years. Voted Promotion Company of the Year 2011 by a nationwide panel of industry peers for both CMJ (College Radio) and FMQB (Specialty Radio), our experienced in-house staff is also accentuated by individual award-winners. In recent months, the radio department of The Syndicate has seen successes with artists including Passion Pit, Fiona Apple, The Shins, Santigold, Jack White, and Kimbra; in addition to seeing growth and buzz built with independent artists including Royal Headache, Deep Sea Diver, Now, Now, Art VS Science, and MMOTHS.
