She can't say that she always thought she was going to be a musician. But there's no denying that she has that potential. After teaching herself guitar at 15 and writing soon thereafter, Michelle DeLateur has proven to be an intimate and emotional lyricist with melodies that stretch from heartbreak to Hurricane Katrina. Her musical style earned her the name "female Dashboard Confessional, with a better voice" and her wide span of musical interests garnered another nickname "Musical Dictionary."
