With an ultra smooth delivery and a unique style unlike other artists, west coast artist/beat maker Mic Doja, has been turning heads with his high-energy music and a strong stage presence. East coast born, his music is a blend of east meets west, combining the consciousness of East Coast with the ruggedness of the West Coast.
Artist/Producer Mic Doja has been involved in music production and song writing since 1993. Since his 2009 release of his debut album, “The Rise”, Mic Doja has garnered the support and respect of both fans and artists alike. Focusing on the positive influences of Hip Hop culture, while infusing such elements as, jazz, rock, classical, and R&B; into his beat production, Mic Doja music combines catchy lyrics with a unique blend of sounds. From performing at open mics throughout Ventura County, to opening performances in L.A., Mic Doja’s music is felt by both young and old alike. Past performances include private house parties, 09’ & 10’ performances at the Annual Mar-B-Que, 2010 Camarillo City Festival, opening performances for major industry groups like Nappy Root, The Beatnuts, and Pigeon John to name a few, as well as numerous performances at local clubs and other venues. His show draw is modest but very fast growing, as his live shows are second to none.
Currently Mic Doja has finished recording his latest project entitled, “A.L.I.E.N. LANGUAGE”, which is due to be released on 2/2/2012. He is also in progress of preparing to shoot his first music video for the upcoming album as well. He is also teaming up with other local artists to collaborate on future projects and performing around the local club scene and open mic venues to help bring attention to his future album release.
