My biggest influence is James Taylor. I prefer to write songs that say something with a fabulous melody rather than songs that are catchy but really have no meaning. Writing songs that relate to people's everyday lives and emotions is what sets me apart from your average songwriter. This is especially true when I write songs for weddings--I have the couple answer some questions and give me a biography of their lives together and include their specific story in their own personalized song.

I grew up in a musical family and went to college for music. With all my musical experience and training I have a deep understanding of music from a personal, creative, and technical point of view.
