Mayday! Cried The Captain came into existence in november of 2007, and in two short years became one of the most dynamic unique sought after bands to hail from the sunshine state.
The band members consist of lead vocalist Kyle Kendall, David French on guitar, Greg Fornal also on guitar, Sal Cangelosi on keys/programming/backing vocals, Cody Combs on bass guitar, and last but not least Chris Stralkus on drums.
They have played countless venues across the state of Florida, and have performed along side such acts as Mychildren Mybride, A Day To Remember, I Set My Friends On Fire, Whole Wheat Bread, the Hottness, and many others.
In November of 2008 They began recording their self titled EP at Chango studios, where they crossed musical boundries and created a unique style, destined to become one of the most successful recording artist to date.
Their unique style consists of all perfect ingredients: Electronic, Pop, and Post Hardcore. Their first single Todays Gonna Be A Good Day became an instant hit amoung local scenes.
They Recorded their first music video, entitled Todays Gonna Be A Good Day under the direction of Dan Cunningham.
Their onstage presentation leaves audiences mesmorized and crying for more as well as appealing to all ages.
