Recorded two eps with the band October Game which Matt is the lead singer and songwriter.

Bio
Matt began his voice career in the all City Boy's Honour Choir at 8 years old. At 18, Matt has starred in 3 musicals; Sid Sorokin in The Pajama Game, Jean Valjean in Les Mis; and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. During high school he was an auditioned bass for the acclaimed halifax choir "Soundtrax" and a vocal soloist for the all-city Senior Jazz ensemble under the esteemed direction of ECMA winner Dave Staples.
Matt is the lead singer and songwriter of an up and coming band October Game which has released an album entitled "Stuck In Dreams". He sings in numerous choirs, was a paid soloist at Bethany United Church, received a number of music awards and scholarships, and has been accepted to the Berklee College of Music. This year he is studying voice at Dalhousie University, and has landed a lead in the Opera.
Matt has great range from baritone to tenor honed through practice and classical and jazz vocal training. He plays lead guitar and alto sax. His diverse influences include Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Damien Rice, Kevin Fox, Joel Plaskett to John Williams, Colm Wilkinson, Harry Connick Jr., Michael Buble, Jesse L. Martin, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.
You can catch Matt this year in venues around town singing in a local jazz trio and as a solo artist and on the big screen. Matt plays Roland in Clement Virgo's Poor Boy's Game. It had it's debut at the Berlin, the Toronto Film Festival, and the Atlantic Film Fest.
