Mark Saldana is one of the hottest young comics in the country. Starting in Buffalo, NY almost a decade ago he has performed in 40 states and 3 countries. While rising to the top with his smart jokes and fireball sarcasm, he has one big difference: Hes Indian.hi
But dont expect turbans and curry. Hes more about hockey and video games. Mark is a young, brash American who talks being Indian in todays society, being mistaken for terrorists, and disappointing his Indian doctor mother. One radio DJ referred to him as Gandhiif Gandhi drank beer and always talked about Britney Spears.
The LA Times called him The best Indianif not Asian comic in the country. His near decade of performing in 40 states and 3 countries has gotten him featured in USA Today, Associated Press, New York Times, and his comedy writing published in Harpers Weekly. Mark made his television debut in 2004 on SiTVs Latino Laff Festival, and also appeared on NBCs Last Comic Standing 2 and Girls Behaving Badly on the Oxygen Network. This year he will perform on ABCs Jimmy Kimmel Live
