Bio
From the age of seven Mark Burke began playing the piano finding melodies and distinguishing notes by ear. In high school, he took on the trumpet and joined the band. During his freshmen year, Mark picked up an old Yamaha six string his dad bought at a yard sale and was using as a decoration in their family room. His dad tells us that “From the moment Mark picked it up, he never wanted to put it down, or do anything else". Mark has a burning passion for writing music and an even stronger desire to connect with those in the audience. His music is a cross between Eric Church and George Jones. Mark's first single “Damn Good Country Song”, was recently pitched to Curb Recording Artist Rodney Atkins. “Walk With You”, is a ballad, describing his love for his friends, family, and most importantly God. Mark is sure to have a song that everyone can relate to. He is a story teller in every sense of the word, his lyrics paint a picture so vivid you are wrapped up in the song from word one, they will stick with you long after you hear them because they are so powerful, and heartfelt.
Mark has had the opportunity to share the stage with Nashville Recording Artists, Scotty Emerick, Craig Morgan, Luke Bryan, Josh Gracin, Darryl Worley, Josh Thompson, Love N' Theft, Jake Owen, and most recently, Billy Currington.
