Bio
Maritess Zurbano has been astounding audiences around the world with a dynamic combination of expertise, professionalism and humor for 20 years.
Maritess took her first magic lessons at the famous Chicago Magic Shop, Magic In. She spent the next seven years in Las Vegas, studying sleight-of-hand and magic history from her mentor Gary Darwin. While studying in his multi-million dollar magic library, she worked at the Dunes Hotel as a blackjack dealer. Her magic life includes briefly working as a professional Baccarat player, owning a fortune-telling bueinsss in Nevada, becoming a master phone psychic, and starring in her own illusion show in Japan.
She is most proud of competing against 150 magicians from around the world in the General Magic category at the F'D'Ration Internationale Des Soci't's Magiques in Lisbon in 2000. This is widely known as the Olympics of Magic.
