Maple Road

By presenting an eclectic blend of blues, rock, and folk jams, Maple Road is a band that does not fall short of keeping an audience entertained and intrigued.  While honoring musical heroes and legends, the group also strives to craft original and memorable tunes that allow each band member and the audience to interpret the music.

Maple Road was the result of an initial jam session between drummer, Nick, and guitarist, Jenny, in early 2006.  The two, determined to share their passion of music with others, welcomed Randy  to the band in the fall of 2006.  As an enthusiastic guitarist, vocalist, and harp player, Randy continues to pose a triple threat!  George joined Maple Road in the spring of 2007, bringing years of bass-playing experience.  His steady and innovative grooves added to the musical gumbo that became Maple Road! 

In 2010, after two albums and 150 gigs, Nick decided to pursue another calling.  Dan Somers stepped into that role, formerly with Whole Wheat Blues Band, Sinfield Ray, Stinger, Alabama Son, Doctor Snake Oil, Katz Sass, and CHIPS.

At the end of 2011, George retired from the rigors of gigging.  Russ Wheeler now keeps the rhythm section rocking.

The spring of 2014 brings a new drummer for Maple Road, Tim Sardina.  Tim has been in many bands over the years, most recently Trailer Park Heroes and Groove Therapy.
