Bio
From dj to producer to artist, Tony Burnett aka Malachi was born to perform. Born in the beautiful island of Barbados and influenced by Reggae, Calypso and Soul music, Malachi moved to Brooklyn, NY. He took an interest in spinning records after listening to several deejays on the radio. Malachi wanted to become a deejay, so he bought some equipment and started Djing for house parties around town. One night while spinning records at one of his parties, Malachi realized that he wanted his music to move people. Malachi decided he wanted to come out from behind the turntables and be a performer himself. He started creating music by any means possible in order for him and his crew to write to. Soon thereafter he would head the rap group The Pipers and perform on stage with former member Concept along with now partner Radix. In time Radix would join forces with Malachi to become the dynamic duo Blak Dymondz.
Malachi is currently working on several solo projects.
