Mahagon

Mahagon is the hottest band in Moldova. Founded in 2009, the guys move forward step by step, getting recognition in local cities and towns as well as getting known in neighbouring Ukraine, Russia and Romania. The band plays funky "haiduc dance"(heavy vesel zhoc) as they like to call it. It's a mix of folk with the modern life reality and also Balkan Beats.
The boys are always in a non-stop search for a different and unique style, trying to throw in from lyric jazz to rock n roll, from metal to tear summoning pop music. In other words trombone, guitars and saxophone here we go that's "Mahagon".
