Madsin

Madsin was born Dylan Madsen on July 31, 1980 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He grew up in a family of artists and attended the University of Arizona for fine art before dropping out to pursue a career in music. His family didn't much approve, so he lived on the streets using his music as an outlet to deal with the drama that consumed his life at the time. Some of his choices (which are reflected in his music) may be frowned upon, but each and every experience helped to create what you see before you. A seasoned writer, lyricist, performer and an evolving man continuing to change for the better every day.

Madsin’s first album, "Sin City" was released in 2009, featuring his hit single "She Sexy". His first video using She Sexy debuted in July of 2010, which served as a tribute to John Travolta and the Bee Gee’s who were a musical influence in Madsin’s early years. Madsin has a distinctive hip-hop voice noticeable by its smooth, rhythmic undertone. His second album "11:11" is under development and planned for completion by the end of 2010. It includes influence from recent exposure to house tracks in Miami, New Orleans voodoo, and guitar.

Madsin takes pride in his writing ability, which was used in the past by a major record label. While the opportunity to write was valuable, Madsin has it in his blood to perform and share his music with the world. And the world will hear more and more over time, because even though the music industry can be brutal, his passion for art and desire for success is stronger.
