Today is the premiere of up-and-coming indie artist Madi Rindge’s music video “Summertime.” Madi chose to release the cheeky and fun video of her new pop single on the last day of summer, September 22nd, as an ode to a never ending summer.
Los Angeles born and raised, Madi Rindge grew up in a Grammy Award-winning household and was exposed to musical genres of all kinds at a very early age. She began playing piano at just three years old and by middle school was writing and singing original songs.
Her sound is electronic pop with r&b and hip-hop influences. Her first single “Wear Me Out” received great attention and “Summertime”, her second single released in June of 2015, was picked up for film placement and is going to Sundance and the Tribeca film festivals. Bio
Madi Rindge is a pop/soul singer songwriter, born and raised in LA. She grew up in a Grammy Award-winning household, where music and performance was always at the center of her life. She began playing classical piano at just three years old and by middle school was writing and performing original songs.
While at NYU studying music business and performance, Madi released her single, “Summertime.” It was picked up for film and tv placements, including an independent film at Sundance and Tribeca film festivals, and aired on radio stations Pulse 87 NY and Pulse 96.7 Las Vegas. Her self-directed “Summertime” music video was selected and is currently playing on Ellen Degeneres’ “EllenTube.”
After graduating from NYU, Madi moved back to LA. Since being back in her hometown, she co-wrote and performed a duet called “California", which has 400,000+ Spotify streams and was featured on Indie Shuffle. She released “Naked” with Gil Glaze via Sirup Records, which hit 200,000 Spotify streams in just two weeks and is playing on Sirius XM. In April of this year, Madi signed a licensing deal with LyricHouse - a Los Angeles based music publishing and licensing company.
Madi has written for labels and publishing companies such as Musical Freedom, Sony/ATV, Cloud 9 and Mixmash Records. “Dreaming”, was signed to Mixmash Records and charted at #11 on Beatport pop charts. Currently, Madi is working on her EP to be released this year.
