In a country where pursuing entertainment appears to be a means to a dead end, the 24 year old Bahamian, Kristin “LuV-R” (luh VAHR) Smith believes in the power of a creative mind. Being hailed as “The Sims King” by the Day Sun Magazine, for impressing over 17 million Youtube viewers and over 9,700 subscribers with his animated music videos, fortified his belief to overcome any opposition to reach the world through creative thought. Furthermore, his animated music videos have caught the eyes of professionals and representatives from Universal Music Group (Interscope Records), Atlantic Records, and TVT Records. It is his distinctive style and storytelling ability that sets him apart from the rest; moreover, this distinctive style and storytelling ability does not only exist in his animated music videos but also in his songwriting. Songwriting is another longtime passion that LuV-R would now like to showcase to the world.
With heartfelt poems, mind soothing melodies, and soul piercing lyrics, LuV-R finds happiness in influencing the emotions of his audience in a positive manner. Additionally, he is not confined to one particular genre but has an eclectic writing technique.
