Currently preparing to record with Simon Changer (Bjork, Jamiroquai, David Gray) Lula Belle is feeling particularly excited.
Headlining at the Brighton Komedia with her band and playing support gigs at The Concorde II, Brighton should have been enough, but no, Lula Belle went climbing in the Himalayas instead, wrote some new songs and returned to London hans solo, with a wadge of scribbled lyrics stuffed into her haggard guitar (it had found the altitude particularly challenging).
Solo for Lula Belle means room to breathe, to allow the songs the elasticity they need, and to hear the words! Now with her sights set on her debut EP Lula is gigging wherever she can, determined to meet audiences beyond her South-Eastern perimeters.
