Luis Terreros ha sido hasta ahora el vocalista de la formación de rock alternativo latino "Silueta Vil" de la ciudad de Nueva York. Despues del parón que sufrió la banda neoyorkina, Luis decide continuar como solista y cambiar el estilo de musica experimentando con los sonidos electrónicos. Comienza a trabajar con el productor venezolano Inti Maldonado que le ayuda en este asunto. La música de Luís es una mezcla de melodias en español e ingles que van desde la electronica, la danza, el indi y el rock clasico en español. - Proyecto Pactoria (Spain)

"Casi a fines del año pasado se dio a conocer el EP “Ecos Lúcidos”, el nuevo disco con que se lanza en solitario el joven músico ecuatoriano Luis Terreros. Anteriormente Luis participó en el grupo local “Silueta Vil”, una de las bandas más movidas del rock en español en el área triestatal. Con deseos de explorar nuevos horizontes musicales ahora presenta este nuevo proyecto con cuatro canciones en las que combina no solamente el español con el inglés, sino que muestra una forma distinta de buscar su identidad musical en la que se aparta de los sonidos del rock clásico que caracterizó el sonido a su paso por “Silueta Vil” y en este álbum de presentación experimenta con sonidos electrónicos mezclados con la fuerza de la guitarra y batería. Luis ha estado envuelto en el mundo de la música desde temprana edad y ahora con este nuevo reto en su carrera espera seguir consolidando su presencia entre el público no solamente de nuestra área sino de otros lugares. En los cuatro temas que presenta en “Ecos Lúcidos”, expone las experiencia de vivir en un mundo multicultural y trabaja en la búsqueda de su propio estilo y ritmo para expresarse. Al final se palpan en estos temas las influencias que ha te- nido en su carrera que van de los clásicos del rock en español como Caifanes, Soda Estéreo, Enanitos Verdes, pasando por LCD Soundsystem, Fisherspooner, Zoe y otros. En esta nueva etapa Luis espera seguir consolidando su carrera como uno de los músicos representativos de la escena del rock en español. La presentación oficial del EP “Ecos Lúcidos” de Luis Terreros será el próximo mes de febrero."

In previous months, Luis Terreros, announced that it was preparing a new promotional EP, and working hard in the recording studio to conceive the songs, with fresh and innovative melodies; while retaining the essence of electro pop.
Initiating this year 2015, we are surprised by his new material: "In Search of Unity", produced by Daniel Imana, a title chosen considering that we are living in an age where people focus on the material, money and greed; forgetting the most important things in life such as: share with family and friends; respect animals and their habitat, enjoy the wonders of nature; get in touch with it; raise awareness of the damage we are doing to our mother earth; and somehow be part of the solution, not the problem; need to find a balance to live a life filled with joy; and leave the legacy of love and hope to future generations. And that's the quest for unity in which it is performed this musical material. The photographs were taken by: Alex Castaneda, and graphic design by: Astrid Rengifo.
The EP contains three songs: "Not return", "Ultraviolet" and "Avril", of which the first single is "Ultraviolet" speaks of us humans that we often forget to look around, observe the sun, sky, stars, sea, etc. all the spectacular things that are at our fingertips, and not appreciate the way it should be. "Ultraviolet" is loaded with lots of energy, with characteristic sounds of Brooklyn with a mixture of indie, pop rock, electronic and new wave. Right now they are putting the final details to video, and will be released in mid March this year, and Directed by : Hernan Herrera and Produced by Luis Terreros.
