Bio

LUDAVICO are a four-piece Alternative Rock band from Brisbane, Australia. With catchy riffs, prominent bass, fresh vocals and a technical beat, Ludavico's sound appeals to a broad audience.

The brainchild of Nat Dash and Jimmy Harden in March 2006, Ludavico finally took shape with the addition of lead vocalist Richo Harvey and drummer George Browning. After months of practice and hard work the band finally recorded their demo in early 2007, titled "The Demonstration." Ludavico then entered the Brisbane gigging scene, playing at venues including Club Phoenix, The Step Inn, Ric's Bar and The Alley Bar.

2008 saw current drummer Nick Bedford joining the band. Shortly after joining, George aided the band in recording their first single "I (N)ever Wanted" at James North Studios. With Nick on board and the first single released mid-2008, Ludavico once again entered the gigging scene, playing at other well-known venues across Brisbane including The Living Room, The QUT Guild Bar, The Red Room, Valley Studios, The Zoo, and The Globe Theatre. In October 2008, Ludavico won the 4ZZZ Youth Show Competition for the single "I (N)ever Wanted" and was given the opportunity to play an all ages gig in Fortitude Valley live on 4ZZZ Radio (102.1 FM).

In early 2009, the band once again entered the studio to record their EP with James North at James North Productions, St Lucia. The record, containing an array of alternative, up beat, heavy and emotional tunes, includes the best material written over the past three years.
