Bio
Destined to be in the eye of public, each of the Lucy Bear bros come from very diverse backgrounds, yet on par in abnormality.
Drummer, Kaiman Weed Walker’s namesake is an interesting tale in itself. As many parents under the influence of new age, his mother did not want to impose an identity upon her toe-headed son and therefore would not name him until he chose one for himself. On the 14th of July in 1991, the then unnamed son had insisted that they visit El Centro de la Fauna de Venezuela, where he would dash from his mother’s side and into the lair of the Caiman crocodile. Although panicked, she knew that this would be the moment every event in her son’s life would parallel. There was a sizing up of the opponents then as swiftly as a fall breeze lifts the skirt of an unexpected female, three-year old Kaiman tackled the baffled beast, subdued it, then started drumming a victory beat on the underbelly of his rival, and claimed his full name Kaiman Crocs Dun Stand No Chance ‘Gainst Me Weed Walker.
Lead man, August Larson’s background is quite the fantastical mystery. As legend has it, he was found by hikers in the Rodopi mountain range of Bulgaria unable to communicate with his fellow species…for he was raised by dragons! It appears that dragons correspond in song as for the first five years in human civilization August Larson could only formulate sentences while singing. To this day Larson’s early years continue to influence his musical performances. Larson is known to soar down from the rafters of music halls as he is blowing fireballs out over his adoring fans. While creating music, Larson tries to emulate the flapping of his ancestor’s scaly wings.
Trey Findley was the product of the artificial insemination of the Walt Disney character Jasmine. As a creature in captivity, Findley began his life in the Magical Kingdom in Orlando, Florida and suffered disillusionment of the outside world; essentially, an escapist’s daydream was his reality. His best friend and accomplice was the man inside the Goofy costume, who one day convinced a group of Texan tourist to take young Findley from the magical world of make believe. Findley’s musical style brings an element of the harsh reality he had to face as he realized that when people die they do not reappear in the clouds when guidance is needed and that when he is getting dressed for the day that mice and birds do not usually assist in this activity.
What you may ask brought these three extraordinary guys together? Well a beautiful dame with the name of Lucy Bear. The rest is history.
