Bio
LUCIUS
singer/rapper/song-writter
Born in Gary,In, Lucius was always inspired by the urban city life. Growing up watching his father sing and rehearse in their basement, Lucius dreamed that one day he would have his time to shine. Attending Emerson School for the Visual and Performing Arts, he started singing and rapping in class, hallways and even talent shows. Lucius lost all fear of the stage and gained confidence to be a star. This dream was almost crushed when he caught two cases facing 6 to 20 years in prison and a tragic car accident that could have cost him his life. Beleiving that life had more to offer and God had better plans, He sought out these plans that led him to His purpose...to bring light and love to world. This once angry, hateful street kat, was changed by the gospel of Christ to be a lover who desired to bring hope to the world through what he calls, Missio Dei music. During this journey Lucius has shared the stage with major artist such as Joe, Jaheim, JR, Mitchell Jones, Sho Baraka and Da Truth and has co-written on the song "Good Life" from the Rehab:Overdose album from Lecrae and the indie film "Man Up" from Reach Records. Lucius has also co-starred in stageplays and indie fims like DreamGirls,Steel Waters, A Grouch That Stole Gospel ,Heirlooms and Firing Squad. There is more to come!
