Lucille had a vision and a dream to find the perfect blend of musicians to create unique music. She began working on her dream, at a young and tender age.
With great persistence, she stepped out of an empty shell into a sea of nuts!
Lucille performed at various venues, in New York City, and Long Island…The Long Beach Jazz Festival, Blaggard’s, Café Vivaldi, C.B.G.B., Don Hill’s, Fat Baby, Port Jazz, The Brooklyn Lyceum…just to name a few! Her original music received both internet radio and radio airplay.
The band members all have a long list of experience and accomplishments. Guitarist, Laurent Medelgi has performed in the United States and Europe. In addition, he has performed at various clubs in New York City. His credits include performing for the Broadway shows Spring Awakening, Rent, and Jersey Boyz. He has also released his new cd/dvd "Diverses". Bassist, Stefan Held is endorsed by Sadowsky, Lakland, Fodera basses, La Bella strings, Epifani speakers, and his credits include performances for the Broadway shows Hairspray, Mama Mia, and Jersey Boyz. He also keeps busy, as the Music director for Grammy nom Marty Thomas, Chaplin Ent. artist Kelly King, and of course, "Lucille's Mixed Nuts." R.J. has appeared in Verizon commercials.

"MACADAMIA" UNISONG INTERNATIONAL SONG WRITING CONTEST WINNER!!!
EXCERPTS FROM CRITIQUE:
"WOW - this is funky, catchy, and musically accomplished all at once. The way it modulates from section to section, first in major, then in minor (etc.) is clever, yet flows smoothly, keeping our interest throughout. All of these instruments work nicely together. Your rhythm section is outstanding!
The flute, sax and piano solos are particularly one of a kind! The ending was tight and surprising, capping this well written and amazingly executed tune! Extremely well done. It is so compelling, we'd go to see this being performed. Great writing, and wonderful recording!"
"When it comes to naming instrumentals, there is usually a compelling reason that the writer makes that decision. We would be fools to try to imagine what was going through your mind when this tune was named - it doesn't seem particularly Hawaiian, or South Sea sounding. Maybe, because it would drive lesser instrumentalists NUTS! Great stuff!"
Surprise guests artists are always in the mix!
