Power. What is power? What is powerful music? Complexity, simplicity, intensity, longevity, and emotion...Our music contains all of these elements, as well as, the element of the listeners personal experience. With a wide array of intriguing dynamics, energetic highs and lows, catchy hooks, fasts and subtle slows, this is HEAVY music.
Since the summer of 2005...From in between the San Juan’s and the Sangre de Cristo's, in a small valley came an ominous noise from within. Too high to be heavenly, but too LOW to be DEAD.
Influenced and inspired by master works of well-known greats such as Tool, Metallica, Type-o-negative, Slipknot, Hurt, Herb, and Godsmack, a band was brewed to unite them all....
With fingers pouncing upon a fret board of four, Nick, the player of bass, the low and thundering roar brings depth and dimension to the rhythm king known as ben jammin. Pounding upon his circles of skin, be it fast, be it slow, no man would dare challenge, be it friend. Be it foe. Led only by one, six in width and twenty-four long, bellowing out the sound of the demon, Mathias. Cutting through the thin desert air, a trifecta was formed to create what the world will know as LOWDEAD.
Our journey began just messing around in the garage with our cheap under qualified instruments. We have now evolved into what you are hearing today. Since our beginning we have strived to be true to the music. Dedication, determination, and the love for what we accomplish are the driving forces behind our songs. Though our short term goals include playing small venues in our small valley, our long term goals are to create a serious name for ourselves in the music industry, as well as to entertain and intrigue the ears.
In short, we are prepared to bring you power. The question is, are you ready?
