You may have already heard Louise's songs in TV shows on the CW, NBC, MTV, Lifetime, and in several movies (Revolution, Sharkwater, Surfing Thru, Who Killed Johnny, Welkome Home). Classically trained from the age of 11, Louise has been touring, recording and collaborating since the age of 16. From her roots in a successful London teen pop band and a 27 piece jazz ensemble, she has gone on to develop a successful solo career, and to work on a range of collaborations with producers like John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, etc), Don Smith (Rolling Stones, U2, Tom Petty, The Tragically Hip etc), composer Jeff Rona (Traffic, Black Hawk Down, Thin Red Line, Exit Wounds, White Squall, etc) and director Chloe Webb (Sid and Nancy, Shameless, Belly of an Architect, Ghostbusters, etc).
Louise has released two CDs to date, 'Ghosttown', and 'Thaw'. 'Thaw' features players from the Counting Crows, Tom Petty's Heartbreakers, and Freddy and Francine. Encompassing a diverse range of emotions and styles, from electronica to pop and rock and roll, Billboard magazine called it 'An impressive feat..... exceptional quality and songwriting craftsmanship." Her voice has been compared to artists ranging from Bjork and Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins) to Nora Jones and Imogen Heap. Originally from London, Louise is currently living, touring and recording in Los Angeles.
