"Lost In Film" is the new musical project from former Canadian band "Broken Ride" guitarist - Ron Tarrant.
Press+1 talks exclusively with the multi-disciplined Ron Tarrant about his latest music project. "Like any music project, this was inspired by a girl," says Tarrant. "I've had a complete change in my life from being on the go for the last 2 years straight with touring in Broken Ride and life at home. It's been really crazy. I needed a break , and some big life changes came along with that. The album 60 days is about everything that I was feeling in this matter of transition. Everything from a break-up to leaving my rock band and a few other things in between. It inspired me to write some songs I never thought I would have. It's been a real self discovery period."
He continues, "Indie music is about style. There are so many types and it's all been done, therefore how is mine different? It might not be...but that's the beauty at the same time. It doesn't matter as long as you enjoy it (and hopefully others around you if you plan on selling some records)."
This latest endeavor was recorded at Tarrant's private home studio. He also performed all the instruments except the drum beats. "Sleeping on a tour bus and waking up in a different city every single night for weeks on end makes for some long days, great times and good stories, and all the emotions one can feel. I'm very excited about this project and all the talented musician's Ive gotten to work with so far on making this record." - Press Plus 1

BR-Toured with such acts as Our Lady Peace, Seether, Thornley, 54-40 and many more. Prior to that, Tarrant was the lead guitarist for Billy Klippert (Canadian Idol's season one-runner up) . A
year of high's including the Canadian Radio Star Award (2013) for best song
"Run" which Tarrant wrote with his previous band Broken Ride, led to
juggling 3 different projects all at once until the decision was made to focus on LIF.
Lost In Film's tracks are written/recorded and produced by Tarrant apart from a few select drum tracks- Jesse Simon plays/produces.
