Lost Book Found is a minimalist noise rock trio composed of Simon Dobbs (guitar and vocals), Corine Pepin (bass guitar and vocals) and David Dovey (drums).
Formed in 2010, the members of Lost Book Found bonded over a mutual love of punk rock and metal. It wasnt long before they found themselves in a small room making big noise. Their sound is based on repetitive heavy rhythms, hypnotic distorted bass lines, flurries of noise guitar stabs much of which is often improvised along with the lyrical content. Their sound has often been compared to Shellac, Sonic Youth and the Melvins.
