Who’s Lonnie Dangerous?
Lonnie Dangerous is a rapper/ actor/ comedian, grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. Now living in Hollywood, California performing and promoting his first CD- JUST THE TIP… Now a Hollywood playboy is making a move to be the leading man, with a new look for hip-hop.
How you got started in the music scene?
I’ve been in love with hip-hop since a boy. Featured on a few compilations and jumped in any rap battles, making a name in the streets. Went to school for studio engineering then made my own studio and started recording.
What’s the story your artist name?
The way I rapped and won rap battles so viciously, people would say, “Lonnie’s Dangerous.” Being an actor and comedian also makes me a dangerously talented artist. So they started calling me Lonnie Dangerous.
What’s your method at the time of writing a song?
I’m a writer, so I like to watch a movie and write a mini-movie or capture a mood. It’s street poetry of a dangerous lifestyle. When the music speaks to my spirit, I just go with it and bear my soul. It’s entertainment so I’m going to bring the showmanship…big time.
So you are hitting the road? Can you give us more details about that and what can we expect from it?
Yes, we’ve re-located to Los Angeles to build a broader fan base. We are doing college campuses, showcases and open mic. nights in the area. Negotiating bookings and tour dates so send emails to Lonniedangerous@hotmail.com . But we are out here and I’m bringing a show! THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BETTER RAP PERFORMER! It’s going to be a ride, I bring the energy!
What are your music influences?
The late great 2pac, 50 cent, Jay-z, I spent a few years in the valley absorbing the sounds so there’s a bit of rock, punk and death metal influence too. Movies and comedy are a big influence too.

What has been the funniest moment you guys have been or took part while touring?
Mr. Hot Chocolate almost melted in Arizona! It was 116 degrees. I’m dark, so I didn’t want to go outside until the sun went down. Luckily, I love what I do.
Do you guys feel you are moving on the right direction?
Yes. Lonnie Dangerous will be a household name. Get used to hearing it, I’m going to be around for a long while.

York, NY (Top40 Charts/ WiFi PR Group) Lonnie Dangerous, a rapper from Anchorage Alaska has just moved to Los Angeles and is releasing his new album "Just the Tip". His feature song Northern Lights will be donated to the WiFiPR Group Complilaton "Indie Anthems".
Dateline: Los Angeles, California, July 6, 2012 - "Just The Tip" Won Alaska's album of the year, and the producer Slimmkeys won Alaska's producer of the year, two years in a row. Lonnie is very proud for writing a song for BEADS OF COURAGE, an organization that supports children battling cancer. Lonnie Dangerous is also an actor/ comedian. The Northern Lights video is getting a great response. It premiers next week on The Venue, Alaska's local music video show, first local rap act. Lonnie has just relocated to Los Angeles to hopefully build a greater audience and following, after all Southern California is a huge market and is known for its great warm weather.
Lonnie has already appeared at the Whiskey A Go Go, and often plays at private parties, and is scheduled to play at three fraternities over this summer. He also opened for Raz B, which is a national act. Influenced by 2Pac, 50cent, Jay-z, he is often compared to Kanye West and Nate Dogg, but definitely has his own style of showmanship. His song writing is often influenced by his family relationships: writing about his fiancé and the death of his grandparents.
Someday Lonnie Dangerous will be a household name, so if you can get to see him live, please take that opportunity as soon as possible. He loves to party, and wants his audience to have really great feel good experience. Lonnie has recently signed with (Wifi PR Group).

Originally from Alaska, Lonnie Dangerous is a multi-talented artist, actor and comedian now residing in Los Angeles, CA. In 2012, released his debut album Just the Tip... Notable Features include Kim Kane; on-air personality and nationally syndicated MTV host, Alaskas producer of the year Slimmkeys, Iroc Omega formally of Black Ice Records. In just a few short months, Just the Tip... was recognized in Alaska as album of the year. With this kind of recognition it wont be long before you too are admiring the sounds of the Northern Lights. In late 2012, Lonnie met accomplished producer and entrepreneur N8Beats, who' s represented by hip-hop legend Violet Brown. They are currently collaborating on new material and remixs from Just the TIp... N8Beats credits include Lil Wyane, Techn N9ne, Master P, Fat Joe, Mims, Devin the Dude, Brother Lynch Hung, Mac Dre, Mistah Fab, EA Ski, Bosko.
