Raised by a single mother in Inglewood California studied music under the tutelage of Vernon Clifford Brown performed with members "Taste of honey" at 17 and went on tour to Hawaii, Japan, Korea and Alaska and the illusion islands. I have performed in my own band in top Hollywood clubs and Las Vegas then worked as a soloist for the three major cruise lines 7 contracts over 5 years traveling the world. My influences from other cultures reflects in my music I have always loved great lyricist and vocalist who could make you feel the words Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, Fiona Apple. As a guitarist I always aspired to these who used the instrument to bend your mind with their note choices Hendrix, Early Jimmy page David Gilmore and funky players like prince and Robert Johnson. With the addition of Linda Lee a mezzo soprano and keyboardist my music is evolving as I now incorporate her voice into my new songs and when we cover other artist tunes there are no limitations. We can perform with my own virtual accompaniment and different rhythm sections and even orchestras. The axis was always to have the vocal harmonies consistent and Linda Lee and I have a beautiful blend.
