“They have their own unique sound, but they do call to mind The Band and The Black Sorrows. There is a kinship in their connection between the lyrics, the music, and the lives of everyday people. They remind me of truck drivers missing their loved ones while on the road or guys working late into the night. So far, the song I like best is “The Score” – incredibly exciting and energetic.” – Sonic Eclectic

Bio
Little Jackie Wright is a roots rock band from the Toronto–Golden Horseshoe Region. With members from Welland, Ontario and Lethbridge, Alberta, LJW’s music reconciles the disparate views of steeltown grit and open, plain sentimentality. As a result, LJW’s original recordings are a reflection of industrial challenges, Western ideals, and all points in-between, each framed within a distinctly Canadian context.
2010 saw the release of their debut EP, 'Long Ride', consisting of songs influenced by the everyday person’s life in Ontario, particularly from the Niagara. They also have an emerging catalogue of yet-to-be-recorded rhythm and blues tunes, which they play at live shows. LJW is a band best experienced live.
