Lisa has been playing as a solo act (sometimes accompanied by regulars Stuart Clark & Amy Duncan) and as a member of various bands most prominently "Townhouse" and now "Kilmarnock Edition" since 2004. A core of the Edinburgh music scene, Lisa has carved out her own unique space for what she calls 'head and heart music'.
Awards/credits include:
- Semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting Competition 2008
- Scottish Burnsong Winner 2007 & 2009
- Burnsong Political Songhouse Artist 2011
Lisa has self-released 2 albums under her own name, 'Hello' (2005) and 'Transition' (2011); her songs also feature on Townhouse's album 'Ten Pieces' (2009) and Kilmarnock Edition's 'Pay It Forward' (2012, Greentrax Records).
