Bio
The seeds of the band were planted in a classroom when Eric Fleming met Keira Michelle. Both shared a love of music and a commitment to humanity. However, it took three years for anything to happen. As a result of a random Facebook post, the two reconnected and began writing and rehearsing songs in Fleming's basement over the summer of 2013. Quickly, the band recorded a few demos and began booking gigs. Recording has begun on a full-length album for release late in 2014.
The band is an amalgam of post-punk, blues, electronic, dirty guitars, beautiful vocals and a range of stories and ideas. Monolithic institutions are dissected and human nature is empathetically considered while walking the tightrope of personal sanity. Fleming and Michelle bring their previous experiences: Fleming from Speedboat Girls and War Party; Michelle from the Twin Cities Women's Choir together to fashion something not entirely unfamiliar, but relevant in its beautiful ugliness.
