Les Américains began as a project in which former members of [Daryl], Ghost of Ria and Sofia Ray NYC needed an outlet to blow off creative steam. Over the course of of 2008 coherent ideas began to form with an increasing frequency and they began to play around the Dallas club scene. With a mutual love of seminal 80's/90's indie acts such as The Afghan Whigs, The Replacements and Dinosaur Jr., Les Américains create melodic indie-rock with an emotive lyrical drive. Their new album "Other People's Lives" was released on limited edition vinyl in November 2010.
