Lenina Crowne
State College, PA | Established. Jan 01, 2013 | INDIE
Bio
Blending the sounds of indie rock and psychedelia, Lenina Crowne's laid back groove, dystopian-influenced lyrics, and saxophone breaks make for an atmosphere that both relaxes and engages the crowd. Through late-night bar gigs at Penn State, they honed an explosive live performance and developed their musical direction. Over the past four years they have played hundreds of shows and shared the stage with acts such as Fitz and the Tantrums, Rusted Root, Wiz Khalifa, and Aloe Blacc.
With a catalog of releases including two EPs (“Try A Gramme” in 2015 and “TIME” in 2017) and a number of self-recorded/self-mixed singles, the band delivers both uptempo rock tunes and melodic, pensive ballads. Counteracting the monotony of life and working like the dickens towards their next dystopian release, Lenina Crowne will continue to engage audiences with groovy music, slightly funny jokes, and outrageously good looks.
