"Enough Dribble Drabble"

Baller! Drop at 2’40” is freshest of new shit… Massive electro house saw under the dribbles and moombahton bleeps makes me so happy. - The Wet Blog

"Lazerdisk Party Sex - Tiger Blood"

This song is electro crazy. Originally an intro for their live performance at The Snowball Music Festival, Lazerdisk Party Sexy turned this into a full track and it is amazing how good it is. Built around an iPhone ringtone this song builds up to electro overdrive. It’s so crazy, I’m going to listen to it again. - DEDMUSIC

"Afrojack & Quintino - Selecta (Lazerdisk Party Sex Remix)"

Lazerdisk Party Sex, the Burlington based electro duo is back with another really sick new remix. They brought you the really sick remix to Dirty Talk by Wynter Gordon. This remix has got it all, and goes all over the place. It’s got a lot of energy, bass, funkiness, and just the right amount of the original. I definitely have liked some Lazerdisk, but this track might be my favorite. Turn up the bass, get wild, enjoy! - thissongissick.com

"Lazerdisk Party Sex (Live at Pearl Lounge)"

Last night wasn’t your typical Thursday in Portland, Maine. Sure, you had the typical steezy “bro bars” blasting their lame top 40 jams but not every bar was following suit. Pearl Lounge was bumpin’ with hot, young EDM lovers. Why you may ask? Well, the answer is simple and can be clarified with 3 words…Lazerdisk Party Sex.

That’s right, SBB homeboys Lazerdisk Party Sex were holdin’ down the 1's and 2's last night for an event set up by Maine Electronic at Pearl Lounge. Having just moved to Portland for work, i’ve set out in search to try and find any form of life for an EDM scene––which unfortunately, seemed pretty non-existant (for the downtown scene). I’ve been trying my best to use StopBreatheBump to spread the word and bring this amazing scene to Maine. Thankfully, my boys from Maine Electronic are riding the same wave!.....continue to website - Stop Breathe Bump

Two confessions: 1) I love moombahton; and 2) I wasn’t a huge fan of “Horsey” when it first debuted. I felt it was lacking something. Lucky for me, Lazerdisk Party Sex posted this remix on their Soundcloud a couple of days ago. The duo from Vermont added some much needed depth to the song in the form of a heavier bassline and some bigger buildups that took this song from a pretty ordinary moombah track to a club pleaser. - The Music Ninja

"Lazerdisk Party Sex"

It has been two weeks since The Snow Ball Music Festival in Avon, Colorado. For those of you that have been living under a rock, the Snow Ball Music Festival was the biggest rager to hit the Rocky mountains since their creation. The roster included Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Diplo, Zeds Dead, Savoy and more. My mind is still blown by the one act I saw in the Heat Hut. Without going into too much detail about the shit-show that was The Snow Ball (or as my friend Sammy calls it: SnowChella), the Heat Hut was where the lesser known acts played. One such lesser known act was LazerDisk Party Sex, a storm-trooper helmet clad duo from Vermont. I had done my research weeks prior to the weekend of debauchery, and knew that the set was going to be a banger.

They opened with an unreleased track, Tigerblood – they were the first official group of Snowball (count it, it was Friday) to acknowledge Charlie Sheen’s awesomeness by commemorating him in itune standard-tone remix. I am in all of their footage, and photos from the event. I was the blonde-with the gold jacket. I pretty much went nuts when they dropped their remix of Dirty Talk, which was one of my favorite songs from 2010. Their tour manager was extremely nice, and gave us his business card. Of the few things I kept from the weekend, I was able to hold onto that card somehow – it is now on our fridge. In the aftermath of The Snow Ball, LazerDisk Party Sex is having a hard time understanding that they were THE BEST act of Friday, and one of the best acts of the whole festival. This was in the beginning stages of their US tour, and they killed it. The hype that came from succeeding in Colorado alone is putting these OG’s on the map.

Their hospitality, friendliness and stage presence is what made me heart LDPS. So, I hope that LazerDisk Party Sex keeps on winning. The next time these badasses come back to Colorado, I will be the first person to purchase tickets. This is the set that I have been telling my friends about, and showing them the video on my phone. I have been word-of-mouthing, and passing around their soundcloud link for a few weeks. So, it is only natural that the first blog post on my music blog goes to my new musical-crush with storm-trooper helmets. - Musix.feed

"Hidden Gems"

Now over the weekend I took a DUBCO business trip to Burlington, Vermont to meet with a fellow DUBCO associate, Jules. While we were there, we were lucky enough to catch a bit of the fast paced, quirky, and lively duo, Lazerdisk Party Sex. Thank GOD someone finally spelled Lazer right.
A year deep in the game, this DJ/Producer team from Burlington consists of Pres and ZJ, who after several years of individual performance decided to join forces, breaking onto the scene just before their University of Vermont Springfest 2010 performance with MSTRKRFT. Many know them for their iconic stage use of the storm trooper masks, but most recently their popularity has steadily increased as a result of large event participation, such as their set at Ultra Music Festival 2011. They have already opened for acts such as Common, Ozomatli, and Wale, and this weekend in their home town they dominated students from their stoop atop the stage just before The Roots could hop on and finish the job. Their jams are spreading fast and here’s your chance to hop on board. I can’t say that they don’t sound vaguely familiar, because they do. That really doesn’t matter though; their beats are uptempo and melodic, and incorporate really unique samples which really sets them apart. Plus they throw a hell of a live show. So far their May lineup includes a show in Boulder and a few nights in Miami before they head back to Burlington, so be sure to catch them if you have the chance. Now I’ll just let the tracks speak for themselves. - DUBCO

"Lemonade IS still popular.."

Burlington, Vermont’s very own Lazerdisk Party Sex (aka: DJs Pres & ZJ) have once again emerged from the studio, this time with their first ever original track, and take it from us: this one’s definitely worth your listening time.

Aptly titled “Lemonade is still popular” (a few well-placed samples will explain..)Lazerdisk‘s first original outing definitely shows off the duo’s production muscles. Featuring an extremely catchy synth hook, a driving bass-heavy beat and (as mentioned previously..) those samples, the duo have created quite the track.

Of course you don’t have to take our word for it. Listen. Download. Share with you friends - The Get Downnn

"Lazerdisk Party Sex"

LazerDisk Party Sex, what a name. I came across these guys in New York a couple weeks ago and thought to myself, Daft Punk!!! it can’t be – nope, just Lazerdisk Party Sex, but these guys blew me away. And lucky for us, they hooked us up with a couple of awesome remixes and an original track, “Lemonade Is Still Popular”, which sounds to me as a mixture between Wolfgang Gartner and Daft Punk with some humor appeal. Shit’s dope. These guys are awesome and great live. Check their SOUNDCLOUD for more material. Enjoy
