From the legendary town of Roosevelt, Long Island hails a Hip-Hop lyrical impresario by the name of LayLo. Roosevelt is the home of such legends as Eddie Murphy, Julius Erving, The Rap Group Public Enemy, and even Howard Stern. LayLo has been a Hip-Hop journeyman for most of his young life.

LayLo got his first taste of the studio at an early age with Sons of Instinct. Now he is being heard on countless mixtapes and is also being seen on a lot of the popular Hip-Hop DVDs. He has been seen on numerous Real Talk DVDs, Kush DVD, Street Styles DVD, Xtra Clips DVD, Da Connex Video Show and others.

By putting out five independent music videos for the hit singles “Hard”, “Pimp”, “Yup” and “Ill Street Blues” featuring Arliss Michaels of Real Talk DVD and his latest music video "The Ruler". He is being seen on countless video shows coast-to-coast. These videos have gained so much popularity that they wound up getting bootlegged on the streets. He has 20,000 units sold independently with Mix Tapes, “Trading Papers”, “Lean On Lay” ,“Burnem’ Edition”, "2020"and his latest mix tape "Undeniable." During the time these CD’s were sold LayLo’s music scored an independent film called UnderGroundPD. Also the clothing line S.E.R.I.US Threads is making its mark in the Urban Fashion Industry diversifying LayLo’s market base.

With his impeccable stage shows he is quickly gaining a lot of respect in the independent Rap market. By being an excellent performer he has done clubs and theaters from New York to Colorado without a major record deal. Lay Lo has performed at such venues like the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado, Club Speed, Club Bobalus,Club Touch and Club Imperial in N.Y.C. just to name a few. One of his most exciting performances was done at the Nigerian Embassy in N.Y.C. There, Lay Lo performed at a benefit concert for kids in front of the Nigerian Ambassador. It was a well-received show that increased his dedication. Another show that moved the crowd was a performance at Club Industry, in Long Island. Here Lay Lo had the privilege of opening up a show for Ruff Ryders/ Interscope Records Recording Artist, Styles P that D.J. Kay Slay of Hot 97 hosted. Kay Slay was so impressed that he commented, “It ain’t hard to tell who got this town on smash!” after Lay Lo performed. Shortly after he opened up for Street Sweepers Artist Papoose.

For two years D.E.A.D. S.E.R.I.US Ent. has also been co-promoting the Greek Fest alongside Greekfest.com and 721 productions. He also gained further media coverage getting a front cover feature on Royalty Magazines June 2010 issue
