It can only be a metal band setting up when the drummer has to employ seven different cymbals; intricately arranged like UFOs in close formation. Law Of Attraction presented a fairly familiar angst-metal that usually finds a good foothold in the youth market, and boy do the band themselves seem ready for it. Technically adept withought being too showy, they balanced the violent and delicate passages very smoothly whilst producing an impressively physical performance. The Swan Basement stage seemed much, much too small for them; particularly for the bass player whose savage backing screams typically usurped the singer. With a very able, commanding show; Law Of Attraction may only be one genious idea away from whipping up a storm of serious attention. - Drum Media

Bio
Law of Attraction is a fresh-faced Alternative Rock outfit out of Perth, Western Australia. With influences from jazz to metal, blues to pop, and almost everything in between, the band delivers a textured and diverse sound that’s earning a decent following in the Alternative scene.
The four members of LOA are besties. While going through schooling and learning their instruments together, John (Vocals/Guitar), Andrew (Bass/Vocals), Benn (Drums) and Clint (Guitar) developed a big sound that still payed respect to their softer side. Utilising light/shade and heavy/soft, the band produces a wide sound giving all the punch you want while drawing you in with eerie clean tones and smooth melodies.
After releasing their well–received debut EP ‘Obscurity’ in September 2011, the band launched their new single ‘Getting Old’ in Nov 2012, selling out a Freo hotspot in the process. The Law of Attraction is currently writing and preparing to head to Sydney in June 2013 to compete in the Australasian final of the 'Global Battle of the Bands'.
