Bio
Born Lamar Harris, Black-Phaze grew up on the Northside of St. Louis, MO. Was heavily active in producing music since the age of 13. Working hard has always been a must in the life of this young and gifted Artist. At the age of 18 Black-Phaze was introduced to a rapper formally of the STL hiphop group First Draft(which included names like Stuey Roc, The FAM, and Nightmare Naphi) by the name of Bz-Gutta. Phaze was then brought in as the head producer of a independent Label 1hunned records (which included Bz-Gutta, Murda Mafioso, and a current “Hitz commitee” Rnb artist named Tydis). However Egos came to play and the group broke up due to faulty business moves. At this point Black-Phaze new it was either put up or shut up. He then began to write and produce for himself in hopes of catching artists ear who were in need of production. He recorded his first song Entitled”Official Bomb Bom, ” amd the single immediatly gained a buzz on the STL hip hop scene placing the song on a mixtape entitled Loud and Clear Vol.1 which featured Artists like Eboni Eyez, Gena aka Fresco Kane, Tef Poe, and other major stl independent artists. Since then Black-Phaze drop his first compilation LP entitled Level’D up which featured several records he produced for other artist via stlmixtapes .com. Black-Phaze was the awarded with two major placement for the single “official bomb bom, ” via broadjam.com and a track he produced entitled Who iz Dat by Yung Lounacy which recieved positive reviews from multi platnuim producers “Cool N Dre!” who also informed the producer what he should do to make his sound stand out more. Since Then Black-Phaze Went to work starting his own Production company Beata SeaZon LLC which specializes in music and video production. Also landing several Performance Slots around the Country The Latest Being A Slot on the Industry 101 showcase @ SXSW in March of 2014.
