Bio
Combining her enchanting voice with her virtuosity on the pedal harp, American singer/songwriter Kristi Bartleson has been crafting bridges between folk and pop music for more than a decade. Kristi's catchy and exotic sound patterns are inspired by jazz, folk and classical music.
With her origins in the high Colorado Rockies, Kristi graduated with honors from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Her professional résumé includes some unusual credits for a singer/songwriter: for example, she has played at New York's Carnegie Hall with the Select Eastman Orchestra and as a member of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, she has accompanied such acts as The Who, Crosby, Stills and Nash and The Moody Blues.
Kristi has recently moved back to Colorado from Switzerland, where she lived for many years touring and playing her music in Europe. Past concerts have included venues such as; Rössli in Stäfa, Blue Balls Music Festival in Luzern, Mahogany Hall in Bern, Jazz Night in Zug, and the Music Festival of Einsiedeln.
The current Kristi Bartleson Trio's sound is transparent and fluid, an enjoyable and intimate experience for the audience.
