KNiKi, the lovely, “vibracious” lass from Perth –– kept the house rocking.
Back to the festival for a second year, this time with her own red-hot band (harp included) KNiKi’s soulful voice soared on the tropical breezes. Playing many of her own originals from her latest as well as upcoming CD the OZ diva had the record breaking crowd roaring, and the infectious beat from the stage prompted local Blues Fest veteran Bonnie Anderson to leap upon the stage and add her own powerful voice and presence to the party for KNiKi’s finale.

KNiKis vocal cords are packed with rustic roar, angelic pitch, and immense diversity. Infused with Mike Beales fluid yet dynamic guitar playing and a voice thats delivered with explosive roars and intimate whispers

Both artists have had success and multiple Festival appearances to their credit but its this new project that has both of them so excited.
Its exciting, vibrant and refreshingly different, and its rare that something works as well as this musically.
After combining their talents at the 2009 Blues on Broadbeach festival on the Gold Coast, its been non stop touring with multiple festival appearances both nationally and internationally.
Feb 2010 saw them playing alongside blues great Charlie Musselwhite at the Phuket International festival.
The demand around the country has been overwhelming and a quick trip into the recording studio with legendary producer Adrian Stuckey (Split Enz/Neil Finn) has produced some amazing results.
The combination of Mikes shredding blues vocal and explosive guitar, with KNiKis powerful, soulful and yet expressive voice has produce a tremendous new record titled
