Kit Colt is a Lancaster, PA based three-piece, making a splash in Philly. The band, made up of brothers Chris (guitar/vocals) and Alex (Bass) Haus, with their good friend George Davis (Drums). Bio
The band came to fruition on the coattails of whimsy, with here-say jams and late night bourbon impromptus’ that started to evolve into something more serious than any one person could fathom. Lead guitarist and singer/songwriter Chris Klaus Haus called upon George Wallace Davis V to sit on the beat shells for a couple gigs with his brother Alexander Antonio Haus holding down the ground-shaking bass grooves. Through countless hours spent practicing and recording, the band’s pockets were full of tasty jams and it was time to take the scene by storm. Fostering our unique sound out of intimate settings, Kit Colt always recognizes the importance of the audience. We take pride in our fan-base and constantly strive to deliver professionally novel performances that are sure to keep bodies moving and heads consuming. Kit Colt has the notorious sound of wild guitar driven blues melody mixed with blasts of trebly, country-rock guitar and smooth, tasty melodies over a funky, laid-back bass-and-drums groove. You never what you’re going to hear next, but one thing’s for sure: it’s bound to keep you wanting more.
