King Rooster is a new generation ska band. Not particularly restricting ourselves to one genre, we like to throw punk, jazz, and reggae into the mix. Formerly The Fatcats, King Rooster was formed in January of 2009 by original members Javier Guzman and Justin Torner as a hardcore punk trio in Javi's garage. In July after lineup changes and the addition of a horn line, our musical style has changed from one dimensional punk to the unique sound we have today.
