KILLEYE CANDY are an original, blues-inflected rock band from Seattle, WA, whose influences include Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads, Radiohead and the Black Keys. They are comprised of Ehren Reich (guitars/vocals, formerly of Seattle bands Rush Job and The Huts), Monte Bersante (drums/vocals, former SF and Seattle studio musician), and Tom Abernathy (basses/vocals, formerly of Atlanta bands Euphoria, The Magician’s Nephew and RAIN). They combine experienced musicianship with a love of songwriting, resulting in tunes that are rich and memorable and actually have something to say. Seasoned to perfection, they blow the lid off every venue they play in, and in doing so prove, in the best Seattle tradition, that reports of rock and roll's demise have been greatly exaggerated.
