Three guys came together out of Oklahoma and Texas after a couple bands broke up. The band started with Alex Ford on bass, Tyler Captain on guitar, and Jack Martinez on vocals. What's great is that Ford and Captain have experience in the heavier side of rock while Martinez has a strong voice suited for pop music.
Sounds Like: They sound like The Click Five with an edge and more original lyrics. Producer Kevin Gates worked with the band on their debut EP. He has prior experience with The Ready Set and Never Shout Never. His style works perfectly with these guys.
Quote (from bassist Alex Ford): "None of us expected it to sound this good when we started. Jack's voice sounds really good with what we write. It has a poppy feel but there's some energetic rock there too. Working with Gates helped us hone in our sound, he's a genius in his own right.
What's Next: Next up for Kids in the Street is touring. The band just signed on a drummer, they're looking for a new guitarist, and they're getting all of their gear together to start playing outside of Oklahoma and Texas.

Discography
We recorded our first single as a Christmas song last year (12') in December. We then recorded our first ep (4 songs) "Moving Forward" in January (13') and released it this past summer. We Just released our newest single "Were Going Out Tonight" in February (14')
