Born in 1989, Khaleo (also known as BlaccRayden) is a rap artist from the Midwest; Akron, Ohio. He is lyrically influenced by the East and West coasts, with a musical taste for Boom-Bap beats with thorough basslines and slightly psychedelic and jazzy melodies. He has come to adopt his own style of lyricism, while observing the origins of the Hip Hop culture and how it has traveled across the world.
What makes Khaleo a true emcee in Hip-Hop is witnessed from his lyrical showmanship - on display with a wide range of critically thought out, descriptive and amusing storytelling songs. While the average person doesn't listen to intellectual dialect for long - Khaleo makes music that strikes your knowledge nerve no matter when or where it hits you.
Major early influences for this style of schooling the masses are Slick Rick, Canibus, Method Man, MF Grimm, DMX, Tupac and Nas. He is proud to reflect the style of some of the most pivotal characters in Hip-Hop. All the while he maintains his own sense of being and continually develops his style at every opportunity. As of late, Khaleo is gathering more beats that sound well-developed, like how Big K.R.I.T or Madlib make their music.
