Katie Todd has shared the stage with such music scene luminaries as Sarah McLachlan, Patti Labelle, Train, Steve Winwood, Margot And The Nuclear So And So’s, Juliana Hatfield, and The Wallflowers. iTunes.com lauded her crew as one of the “top buzz bands in the country”, and she claimed a spot as the website’s “Artist of the Week”, earning nearly 300,000 downloads of their single “Face Down.”
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Katie started studying classical piano when she was 4 years old. When her Katie Toddsister started sharing hand-me-down albums by the Beatles, U2, and Cat Stevens, Katie’s started down a different path. Katie majored in music at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. After graduation, she moved back to Chicago to pursue music full-time.
Now with three studio albums and a live offering under her belt, Katie is ready to show what she’s made of, her more mature and gritty side, with CLOSER.
