Katie Ainge describes music like colors on a canvas. She brings a unique texture and imagery to her songs. Ainge's music has soothing acoustical quality to it while the powerful lyrics draw you in. Not afraid to tell the truth and making no attempts to sugarcoat reality her songs ring home to the listener. This becomes most apparent during her live performances when she delivers her music with strong emotion and passion. Katie Ainge is an accomplished and award winning singer songwriter based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. After her independent release in 2012 of her 5 song EP, "Now or Never", she spent the greater part of the next three years touring and writing new material. In 2016, Katie released "Thrive" a full length album. "Thrive" is a collection of musically gentle songs about changing and improving who you are. While Katie's live performance is simple, with acoustic guitar and her voice, the album is sure to pleasantly surprise you. Katie Ainge has received recognition for her songs from Songwriters Universe and has even been honored with the International Song of the Year award in the Christian Category. She has performed all over the United States from New Orleans House of Blues to winning first place at Humphrey's Backstage Singer Songwriter competition in San Diego, California. Katie has been the opening act for Dia Frampton, winner of the Voice 1st season, and Christian Artist Aaron Gillespie. Recently, Katie has sold the song "Up in Flames" to an Itunes movie called "Patient 62", and "Fond of You" to the TV show "The Fosters".
